There is an energy we encounter in our spirit, in our psyche,which can be characterized as a persona, which generates and is the ongoing moment-to-moment creation of reality for us. This energy can be conceived of as God the Father, as Jesus Christ, and as the sanctifying grace of the holy spirit. 

The shape our reality takes seems to be affected by our attitude. I am reminded of the skit by Monty Python's Flying Circus in which residents of an apartment building must have faith in their building for it to remain standing. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ujRE2IkEIo).
